Directing

I like theatre that asks big questions. I’m drawn to complicated ideas, messy human experiences, and stories that give us something to wrestle with. I’m particularly interested in theatre that responds to the world around us, takes on pressing social issues, and imagines how things might be different—not necessarily work with a clear message or easy answers, but work that invites inquiry, connection, and reflection about our role in the world.

As a director, I love exploring how movement, ensemble, visual storytelling, and text work together to make meaning. I care deeply about creating a room where people feel safe enough to take risks, curious enough to experiment, and challenged enough to make something they couldn’t have made alone. I love the process of following a question, trying something that might not work, and discovering surprises and new possibilities along the way.
